- Remove all junk mail and debris from driveway, walkways, or porches
- Check air conditioner settings on thermostat(s)
- Check refrigerator, freezer, and wine cooler temps
- Check crawl spaces for moisture and insect or rodent entry
- Check all lights and replace bulbs as necessary
- Flush toilets along with running faucets and showers
- Water plants as needed and ensure automatic sprinkler systems are working
